Nyack President Michael ScalesReaching Milestones Commencement 2009 was a glorious day! Our 550 graduates—literally surrounded by a great crowd of witnesses—were absolutely euphoric as they crossed the stage at Westchester County Center. On the "pride" barometer, I think I was running neck and neck with their families and friends. I am so proud of the accomplishments of our new alumni! Each one has a unique story and that tapestry of testimonies crosses racial, age, gender, and socio-economic lines. They started differently, but they all made it to the finish...
