After a tremendously successful Orientation weekend for new students—appropriately renamed, “Launch,” the campus community—faculty staff, students, and administrators are ready to take on the new year with a fresh perspective. We look forward to the opportunities ahead that will cause us to stretch and to grow individually and corporately. In fact, our university model has undergone some exciting changes, which will position us to serve our students better.
One of the best gifts we can share with our students is Nyack’s rich history. They’ll have a chance to celebrate another milestone with Nyack alumni next month at Homecoming 2008, October 10-12. In addition to the popular traditional events of this gathering, we will pay tribute to Nyack alumni who were martyred in Vietnam 40 years ago. The keynote speaker at Founder’s Day chapel will be U.S. Navy Rear Admiral (retired) R. Timothy Ziemer. Learn more details about this family friendly weekend.
Hope you can join us for Homecoming 2008. Come make new memories!
